I don’t know why any of us haven’t posted these two glorious videos up. This is what the et/al site would sound like if it sung in the shower. CodeOrgan creates unique musical compositions based on any sites’ particular code, customizing keys, baseline, and synth fx. What does yours sound like?

It was a warm Sunday afternoon when Andy and I stumbled into Poo Bah Records in Pasadena. I have to admit, I was overwhelmed by the plethora of good music just waiting to be sorted through. We skimmed the new music section before we heard softly, over the store speakers, these enticing melodies. Excited, we asked KUTMAH what it was to which he replied “Ethiopiques, No. 4, the blue one.” The rest is history. Ethiopiques has been on loop for the past few days. Ethiopiques is a series of compilations featuring Ethiopian and Eritrean singers and musicians. These recordings were done between the 60s-70s and are pretty rare finds. If you’re into jazz, I highly recommend a listen. Your ears deserve this treat. Two sample songs after the jump.
