You know where we stay! If you like sneakers and live in Hawaii, you had to have at least heard about Hawaii’s premier sneaker boutique, KICKS/HI.

We had the opportunity to chat with the creative director of KICKS/HI, Chris Kam. Many thanks goes out to Chris for taking time out of his busy schedule for us. Below you can find a sample of photos that I took during the interview.

Chris also gave us a preview of the KICKS/HI PUMP20, designed by himself. It has been 20 years since the Reebok Pump was released in 1989. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, Reebok commissioned high-end sneaker boutiques around to the world to design a shoe, and KICKS/HI was part of the chosen. The shoes are exclusive to each store and are limited to 31 numbered pairs each. KICKS/HI just released their Pump this past Saturday, so if you want one of the thirty-one pairs you better act fast. Just hope that they haven’t sold out, but it’s more than likely that they already have. I have seen the shoe in person and it is nice.
