When I saw the video for Delphic’s “This Momentary”, I instantly fell in love. The video, directed by David Ma, was shot in Chernobyl, Ukraine and really gives you a peek into the lives of the people there, twenty three years after the nuclear disaster. While the video is very simple, the cinematography is lush. The color palette, although colors are toned back, seem almost hopeful to me. Maybe it’s the lyrics from the Delphic song playing over it that makes it seem that way. Video after the jump. Delphic are a band from Manchester I’ve been following for a short moment.Their debut album, Acolyte, can be purchased through iTunes and vinyl through Rough Trade or HMV.
